On Friday, 12 June 2026, Andrea Clarke, Principal Solicitor of Coyne Solicitors, was named National Sole Principal of the Year — and the Overall National Winner in that category — at the 14th annual LEAP Irish Law Awards. The black-tie gala dinner was held at the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road, Dublin and sponsored by LEAP legal software and MSL.
The judges recognised Andrea for an exceptional year of achievement within the legal profession, leading with vision, determination and excellence, noting her leadership, expertise, and client service of a sole Principal solicitor running their own practice. Andrea was chosen as the overall winner across the regional Sole Principal honourees, a result that reflects the standard of service her team delivers on every legal and property transaction.
A personal milestone
For Andrea, a commercial law specialist and Principal Solicitor of the firm and the incoming President of the South Dublin Chamber of Commerce, this is an individual recognition that sits alongside the firm’s wider achievements. It acknowledges the responsibility, judgement, and care involved in leading a practice that puts clients first.
