Cookie & Tracking Policy
Coyne Solicitors respects your privacy and is committed to both the spirit and the letter of the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. This site does not place any cookies on your device—neither our own nor any from third parties—and so it does not require a cookie-consent banner. This page explains the limited browser storage we do use and the third-party analytics that runs on the site.
Strictly necessary storage
We make limited use of temporary, first-party session storage that is essential for the technical operation of the site—specifically, remembering the answers you enter into our multi-step quote form as you move between steps. This storage is not a cookie, is never shared with third parties, and is cleared automatically once you complete the quote or close the browser tab. We use no other persistent storage on the site.
Analytics and error tracking (PostHog)
We use PostHog, a third-party product-analytics and error-tracking service, on every page of this site to understand how the site is used and to diagnose technical problems. PostHog captures information such as page views, device and screen type, an approximate location derived from your IP address (typically country level), interactions with the site, and any technical errors that occur. This is processed on PostHog's EU cloud, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.
Crucially, we configure PostHog to use in-memory persistence only: it sets no cookies and no local storage on your device. Any identifier lasts only for the current page session and is not retained between visits. That is why no consent banner is required. For full detail on what we collect, why, the legal basis, and our other data processors, please see our Privacy Policy.
No third-party marketing cookies
We do not set—or allow—any third-party marketing, remarketing, advertising or cross-site profiling cookies.
Your control
Because we do not store any non-essential cookies you do not need to adjust your browser settings for our site. If you still prefer to restrict or delete cookies globally you can manage this in your browser preferences.
